Have a different question?What is the difference between hospital management software and a hospital information system (HIS)?
In practice the terms overlap. HIS usually means the core patient-administration and clinical system; hospital management software is often used for the complete suite including pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, finance and HR. EMSL supplies the complete suite, and the HIS page describes the core modules in detail.
Can we start with a few modules?
Yes. Many customers begin with registration, OPD, billing and pharmacy or laboratory, then add IPD, EMR, radiology, accounts and HR later. Everything runs on the same database from day one.
Does it include the patient record (EMR)?
Yes. The EMR is part of the suite — clinical notes, orders, e-prescription, history and results in one chart shared by OPD, IPD and the diagnostic departments.
Is it cloud-based or on-premise?
Either. EMSL deploys inside the hospital or in the cloud, depending on your connectivity and data-governance requirements.
How long does implementation take?
